Director Wang Yuping said that the advanced basic materials based on electrostatic technology developed by Professor Zhou Hua's team of Qingdao University can reach the level of commercial mass production; The developed green finishing functional fabric and nano fiber composite fabric realize the green and efficient finishing of functional textile materials and the composite finishing of nano fiber and fabric. There will be no waste water and harmful substances in the process of spraying finishing, which will have a very broad application prospect in the field of functional finishing of textiles; The developed products can be used in outdoor windproof and warm keeping fabrics, protective clothing and other fields, with great industrial value.
Director Wang Lixia believes that by overcoming the shortcomings of existing finishing coating methods, such as large water consumption, high energy consumption, environmental pollution, etc., the project team has developed a pilot scale air assisted electrostatic spraying equipment, which can be used for the industrial production of high-end functional and intelligent textile materials. This method can improve the uniformity, controllability and efficiency of the finishing coating. The coating finishing agent has a high utilization rate, and the entire treatment process does not produce waste water and waste liquid, so the energy consumption is low and the cost is saved.

The expert group exchanged and discussed the achievements of the project research and development, and personally felt and simply tested the multifunctional textile fabrics developed by the team of Qingdao University, which have excellent properties such as unidirectional moisture transmission, waterproof and moisture permeability, and antibacterial, and expressed affirmation and appreciation for their functional effects and future application prospects.
