1) R&D direction

2) R&D progress and achievements

The evaluation and comparison of the catalytic performance of titanium based catalysts at home and abroad were completed, and a new type of catalyst with hydrolysis resistance and high catalytic efficiency was developed and mass production was realized; Complete the research on the catalytic mechanism and polymerization kinetics of titanium catalyst; Grasp the influence of catalyst content on esterification and polycondensation; The color control and stabilization technology of titanium catalyzed polyester were solved; The large-scale continuous polymerization engineering technology of titanium catalyzed polyester and the direct spinning filament (FDY, POY) engineering technology of titanium based polyester melt were developed to form a complete process package; A series of standard studies on the catalytic activity and hydrolytic resistance of titanium based catalysts and the detection method of trace titanium in polyester materials are being carried out; Participated in the formulation of four industrial standards related to antimony free polyester fiber, including Antimony free Polyester Low Elastic Filament, Antimony free Polyester Drafting Filament, Antimony free Polyester Pre oriented Filament and Fiber grade Antimony free Polyester Chips. 3) Medium test certificate

Optimize the polyester melt transportation and distribution, spinning and post-processing process, form titanium catalyst for the complete set of direct spinning technology of polyester melt, develop titanium polyester filament and a series of differential polyester products, including POY products 75/72, 150/144, FDY products 75/36, and pass the SGS certification. On June 10, 2022, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology organized the appraisal of the project "Titanium Catalyst Preparation and Antimony-free Polyester Melt Direct Spinning Filament Complete Technology" jointly undertaken by the National Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center, Jiangsu New Horizon Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center Co., Ltd. and Donghua University in Shengze, Suzhou. The appraisal committee believed that the technology was generally at the internationally advanced level. The project has been industrialized in Shenghong, Xinfengming and Hengyi industrial units.
